The 3M Adflo PAPR has a high efficiency (HE) particulate filter that can be stacked onto an optional Adflo Cartridge Filter for additional protection against OV/SD/CL/HC vapors. User can selectively replace HE filter or Adflo OV/SD/CL/HC Cartridge as needed: both filters do not need to be changed at the same time.

Slim profile is designed to go into tight spaces. Environmentally-friendly NiMH battery charges in less than 3 hours with a smart charger that won't ever overcharge. Audible and visual alarms signal low airflow and low battery charge. Turbo filter cover holds spark arrestor, prefilter and high efficiency particulate filter.

This system can be used in a variety of industrial settings, including woodworking, metal grinding, injection molding, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper processing, sanding and refinishing, foundries, grain and flour processing, and other dusty environments. Combines full eye and face protection with a slim, lightweight, powered air purifying respirator (PAPR). The polycarbonate face shield has exceptional clarity and a wide viewing area. Meets the high impact test requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2003.

Altitude limitations:

Less than 2500 feet - Adflo™ can be used with the Adflo™ HE Particulate Filter only or in combination with the Adflo™ Chemical Cartridge.
Between 2500 and 3500 feet - The Adflo™ should only be used with the Adflo™ HE Particulate Filter.
Over 3500 feet - Due to potentially premature filter service and/or battery life warnings, 3M suggests that the customers use the 3M GVP PAPR with the 3M L-series head gear.
