excellent reception, easy to find stations and adjust volume A little more padding or a better grade in the ear muffs would make them even better. |

I bought these over a year ago. I totally love them. They block out the noise very well. I use the radio and reception in my area is great. Sound quality of the music is good too. Battery life is great even in heat. I would buy them again in a second and buy them for friends and family. |

I use this for woodworking and there is no problem hearing what you are listening to while a machine is on. The only part that is annoying is the inability to know what station you are on. If I want to tune into a particular football, or baseball game, you have to hunt until you find it. |

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS PRODUCT! If you are comparing to the AO Safety or 3M brand there is no comparison. I didn't own the 3M brand for more than an hour. These have really good recption unlike the others. |

I bought these for my husband to use when mowing. They pick up more radio stations than the digital radio headset. You have to screw in place the battery cover which is actually a better feature because other headsets just have the plastic piece covering it which is eventually broken or lost. The only downside is that they should extend a little bit further for the person with a bigger head. Otherwise, they work great. This is our 2nd set. |

I bought a set of these for my wife almost two years ago. She wears them for her daily walks. They are awesome! The radio reception is excellent. The controls are accurate and easy to adjust - and don't LOSE the adjustment. And the batteries are easy to change, though have only had to change them once or twice in two years of almost daily use. |

I read the reviews and chose this model because of them. I like the unit but the auxillary input feature would be much nicer if they had designed it with an open channel, the feedback is annoying when you use your mp3 or stored music. |

A quality product, with a surprisingly good radio. The maximum adjustment on the headstrap could be longer for fatheads like me! Noise reduction is much greater than anticipated, which is a good thing. All in all, a great choice that is highly recommended. |

Good sound dampening. Reasonable radio reception with directional interruption on weak stations, especially AM. Earcups are tighter than they have to be. Can be uncomfortable if not adjusted carefully. Wish there were opportunity to visually confirm what station you are tuned to and, similarly, the opportunity to find a station visually. Overall, a good value. Not sorry about the choice. |

My husband is very pleased! Couldn't find these type of headphones anywhere around (maybe because I didn't know where to look), was very pleased to see them online and with such favorable ratings. We just got a new mower and he needed protection, but we thought he might like his music too! What a great Birthday present for him. Great service, on time delivery, will remember this site for future needs... |

They work great. Could use a third position on the AM/FM switch for aux input. Took me a minute to figure out that I had to keep the volume on the headset down all the way so the radio didn't bleed through. The MP3 player volume has control. |

The Bilsoms are quality earmuffs bottom line. 3.5mm audio cable included is a perfect length. It does not get in the way while trimming or while on the Walker. Everybody with worn out Worktunes should ditch those junkers for these. They are more sturdy, more comfortable, better sound and better materials used. Overall they just outperform Worktunes in every area. Will be ordering a couple more pairs of the Bilsoms. Highly recommended product. Also, they are louder than the Worktunes even though they claim to not exceed the OSHA regulated 82dB as all other radio earmuffs. As for the radio reception, it holds a frequency better than Worktunes but they still can drift in and out but ONLY on the weaker stations. |

I actually bought these after reading reviews right here. My last set of radio earmuffs was the ones many others have owned, the 90541 Worktunes.... The problem well documented with the Worktunes headphones is the way they just don't seem to lock onto channels, plus the reception went completely belly up on my Worktunes set after only a year even though they sat in the truck and barely were used .... Enough about that .... I am in complete agreement with the rest of the positive feedback that I read on this site. The Bilsoms work great, built sturdy, good quality sound and way better reception than the Worktunes.... even though they aren't perfect on weaker stations if I drive the Bobcat around the work site there is a little drifting .... But Way Better than the Worktunes, INDEED! |

Well constructed, comfortable, great analog reception, battery cover is screw on. I live out in the country and use these to keep myself entertained during many boring hours on the tractor. Unintentionatly have left then out in the rain and snow and they still work fine. Keep these mounted on the back of my tractor when not in use and they have fallen off and been run over and still keep working. Mp3 a BIG plus. Easily found because of their visability when I loose them. Simplistic. I don't need digital tuning and presets. My thoughts, the more buttons there are, the more can go wrong or break. Only faults are in the operator (for leaving them out in the elements) - not in the operation! Last thought - long battery life. |

I enjoy listening to music as I work outside and in the shop, often when using noisy equipment. I received the Bilsom muffs and was able to put them immediately to use as I shoveled the snow. I had a hoodie under my coveralls, so I put the headphones over the hood. I tuned to my favorite public radio station with its weak signal. I was able to hear the music clearly despite the thick layer of cloth and the signal was mostly strong and clear. The control knobs are intuitive and large enough to use with the headphones on. One of my favorite new purchases! |

I have owned 3 to 4 Worktunes, and 1 with mp3 jack. The Bilsom receives my weak FM public radio station the best. The battery cover on the Worktunes broke on at least 3 headsets after about 6 months. The screw battery cover looks better on the Bilsom. I use it landscaping and plan on ordering another if this holds up in 2 months. The price is lower also. |

I have used radio earmuffs in the past that I bought at the local "Depot" store. These Bilsom radio earmuffs have much better sound quality and better reception. They even included the cord to plug my MP3 player to them, this can come in handy in poor radio reception areas. I like the color since now I can find them easily wherever I leave them in the shop. They are very comfortable and the price is great compared to the other radio earmuffs out there. |
