	I have no idea how anyone can fly on a regular commercial airline flight without these earmuffs. If you wear them for five minutes and then take them off for three seconds, you will be assaulted by the constant roar that most passengers simply take for granted and numb themselves to, but that roar impedes reading, thinking, getting work done, or resting. And they are far superior to -- and far cheaper than -- electronic so-called noise-canceling headphones, which actually cancel only a small part of the sound spectrum. These Bilsom Leightning L3 earmuffs eliminate noise, PERIOD!

	Serious ham radio contesters use these earmuffs to provide additional audio isolation in conjunction with noise-isolating ear buds. With 25-30 dB isolation from each, a total of 50-60 dB isolation is attained which greatly enhances the ability to copy signals, especially weak ones. 	Can't really beat the sound reducing muffs for the price. Not as fragile as I thought b/c of the wire design and as always, anything with the name Bilsom attached to it is a great product. Use it mostly at the shooting range and as good as any other pair I have. Tight comfortable fit, fits me at 6'5 and my wife who's 5'4.

	This is the sixth pair of Bilsom Leightning L3's that I have bought. Five of the six are still in service; the one pair that broke was due to rough handling at the hands of a 6 year old. I use them for hearing protection in my machine shop at work, and for yard work and woodworking at home. Great earmuffs, very comfortable, with the best sound attenuation out there. I recommend these to all my friends and nobody has been disappointed yet!!

	These are the best shooting earmuffs I have found. I use the Bilsom earmuffs at the range and they work well. I also like the padded headband since it doesn't irritate my bald head like other earmuffs with plastic on them. The Bilsom earmuffs also look really nice.
