The Halotron Fire Extinguishers successfully extinguish Class B and C fires by cooling and smothering and will not provide electricity back to the user. These extinguishers are intended for sue in areas formerly protected by Halon 1211 hand portable extinguishers. HALOTRON I is a "Clean Agent" HydroChloroFluoroCarbon (HCFC) discharged as a rapidly evaporating liquid which leaves no residue. Halotron is pressurized with Argon gas and is an EPA and FAA approved agent.

For the following types of fires:
Class B: Flammable Liquids and Gases - gasoline, oils, paint, lacquer and tar.
Class C: Fires involving live electrical equipment

  • UL and ULC Rating: 2B:C
  • 2 1/2 lb B,C extinguisher
  • EPA Approved "Clean Agent"

Temperature Range -40°F to 120°F
