Hi Visibility Arc Flash Safety Vests

Arc Flash is a serious hazard for employees working around power boxes, junctions and other areas of high voltage or current. Modacrylic fabric does not conduct heat or combust when exposed to flames, and can be dyed in ANSI compliant High Visibility colors. When combined with other Arc Flash products these safety vests can comply with ANSI standards. For Arc Flash protection, make sure that your vest is made from Modacrylic FR Fabric.

Hi Visibility Arc Flash

These safety vests have a Level 2 arc flash rating and are perfect for electricians, utility workers and other working near open flames or exposed electrical equipment. Radians flame retardant safety vests are made from Modacrylic fabric that does not conduct heat and will not catch on fire, and these safety vests are even NFPA certified for flame resistance. No other hi visibility arc flash safety vests offer as many features as these do. All vests come with 3M Scotchlite reflective tape and meet ANSI requirements for high visibility clothing.

Q: What is Modacrylic material?
A:Modacrylic is a synthetic copolymer that has properties similar to acrylic, however, it is flame retardant and will not combust when exposed to a flame. Modacrylic fibers are hard to ignite and will self-extinguish.
