The all new Peltor Sidewinder is an adjustable tactical bone conduction headset. This tactical headset is unlike anything you have tried or seen before. We have tried this unit first hand and it is amazing!
The Peltor Sidewinder tactical headset allows you to receive radio communications through the facial bones (rather than the ear canal) giving the wearer the advantage of having no speaker hardware in, on, or over the ear - allowing 360 degrees of unobstructed auditory situational awareness. The Sidewinder headset transmits with a noise canceling microphone on the left side of the face that is attached to the stainless steel frame.
The Peltor Sidewinder can be worn with safety glasses and in-the-ear style plugs. The kit even includes a pair of Peltor E.V.P. ballistic rated safety glasses and Peltor Combat Arms communication earplugs.
