I bought a pair of these when they first came out in the late 90's and love them. I purchased these for a birthday gift for my best friend and they are even better than the original ones. The best. These have seperate ear control and will also pickup voices at distances and magnify while lowering gunshot noises. Also comfortable to use. This is my second set, the first was taken at the range by someone that thought they needed them more. |

The Peltor Tactical 6s headset is light weight and extremely comfortable to wear. The first time I wore them on the range, the person in the next booth from me was firing a 357 magnum. They worked superbly that day and every time I have used them. The price was a value for the performance. I have recommended this headset to friends and members of my gun club and they have been very satisfied with them. I will purchase the Peltor 6s again . |

Fast shipping. Ordered it on Friday and received it on Monday! The headband of this headset seems a little cheap but all in all the ear protection was great. The noise cancellation worked well and I was able to clearly hear people talking on the range. The battery installation, like others said, was tricky and kind of a pain but manageable. |

I live in Australia and home a pair of Peltor tactical 6 which are about three years old.Llooking to replace them I came across Enviro safety products. Luckily I had a friend visiting America so I asked Enviro to send my order straight to the hotel where he was staying. Good quality, well built. use them mostly for shooting and hunting. I found they take awhile to come back to full strength volume after activating. I have a different brand pair and worked great but has very fast restore time. You can hear right after the shot, unlike the Peltor tac6s. A little tight on the head at first, but a must have for someone that shoots a lot and doesn't want to loose anymore hearing... |

I use ear plugs with this in order to maximize my hearing protection. I turn the mic up until i can hear my range mates talking - about 3/4s to the max.
It was a pain to replace the batteries in the beginning but now I'm getting better at it. I am leaving lithium batteries in because they don't corrode.

This is my second set of Peltor 6s hearing protectors.
The first set was great, the second set had the battery terminals bent on one side and there was a constant static in the side where the terminal was bent. Could have been factory damage as they were bent in, not away from the battery. anyway I called Enviro, and they had them replaced by the factory rep. I must have just got a bad one, I am usually very satisfied with Peltor products. |

I have taken this headset hunting a few times with a 12 gauge shotgun and I have really liked them. The pros would be the price. The con would be the 1 second sound return delay to the headsets. I notice 1 thing this last time out hunting just sitting down listening to nature. Out of the left cup I heard what sounded like soft static that within 2 seconds became loud then suddenly stopped. I never heard any issues after that. Again, despite these minute issues I am very pleased with these headsets. |

At the shooting range I tried out several different headsets and the Peltor was the best. The sound cancelling was better, and the conversation on the field sounded normal. The new ones has lived up to my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Good product! |

I use the Peltor Tac 6 earmuffs at work in heavy construction. I like that I no longer have to take my hearing protectors off to listen to people. They get a little hot but it is worth the benefits. |

I really like how the Peltor Tactical 6 S works for shooting. I use it at the range and it allows me to hear the range commands and still provides hearing protection. My only complaint is that it was difficult to determine how to change the batteries. However, when I called Enviro Safety they gave me great instructions. |
