Safety Glasses by Lens Color

Each lens color serves a different function in benefiting your vision. Finding the right colored safety glasses is a step in the right direction. But which lens color is right for me? Here are a few suggestions for finding the right lens color.

For those working indoors, it is recommended to wear safety glasses with a clear or colored lenses (yellow, amber, orange, purple, or blue) , since they enhance brightness and contrast in low light areas.

For those working outdoor, just about any pair of lens colors will do. However, glasses with mirrored lenses with reflect the suns rays more than a regular lens, giving you more protection against UV rays.

We even carry special welding glasses with IR Green lenses that protect your eyes around welding sites or while lightly brazing or cutting. DO NOT wear welding safety glasses only when welding, workers should wear special welding helmets.
