Nomex Jacket with Banded Waist

Our Nomex Jacket is constructed from 6oz DuPont flame resistant Nomex. The Nomex Jacket provides reliable protection and comfort for workers who are frequently exposed to the hazards of flash fire or electric arc protection. A zip-in liner is also available for those needing additional warmth. The Nomex Jacket is available in royal blue (shown above), navy blue, tan and orange colors.

DuPont Nomex material is an inherently flame-resistant material and the materials flame resistance is not affected by washing or laundering. When the Nomex Jacket is exposed to flames the material fibers swell and become thicker, forming a protective barrier between the heat source and the skin. The Nomex Jacket will not melt, drip, or support combustion and it resists breaking open giving the wearer extra time to escape the hazardous situation.
