Uvex Ambient OTG (over-the-glass) safety glasses are a stylish alternative to prescription safety glasses. Ambient safety glasses are designed provide superior protection when worn over prescription safety glasses. Available in two lens sizes: Medium and Large. Medium fits over most prescription styles. The large version is approximately 13% bigger and is ideal for larger prescription safety glasses.

Ambient safety glasses feature a lightweight frame with super soft, flexible nasal fingers. Adjustable and bendable temples offer complete flexibility along with a secure, custom fit. Impact resistant lenses block 99.9% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. Made in USA.

  • Lens: 5.0 Shade - Commonly used around welding sites or for medium to heavy cutting and medium to heavy gas welding.
  • Lens Coating: Ultra-dura - Tough, siloxane-based coating. Offers superior scratch and chemical resistance.
  • Light Transmission: 2%
  • Frame: Blue
  • Compliance: Meets ANSI Z87+ high impact standards / CSA Z94.3

  Same review that I have for the 3.0 shade. These welding glasses are great. I can fit them over my regular glasses. DON'T buy the large size. My glasses are on the larger side and the "Medium" size fits perfect.
