Designed for rugged jobs, the S8500 Uvex Bionic Face Shield System is tough where it has to be, yet extremely light and balanced for all-day comfort. Infinite adjustability and an easily replaceable faceshield visor makes the Bionic Faceshield easy to wear. Other features include comfortable cell foam on back of headgear and a breathable, removable, washable headband. The Uvex Bionic Face Shield is available with the standard lens or optional hardcoated anti-fog lens. This face shield is ideal as secondary protection with safety eyewear for impact, chemical splash, dust/airborne particles and optical radiation. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003 and CSA Z94.3 standards.

	I am very pleased with my Uvex face shield. It was recommended by several wood turners from my local club, and I am very glad I purchased one. It was very easy to assemble and also is very easy to adjust for a comfortable fit. It is very light weight and while using it I am able to breathe easily without fog and when I use a face mask there is plenty of room for it as well.

	I use this face shield when I am turning on my wood lathe and other tools. Very comfortable even in 100 degree plus Texas heat and humidity. Doesn't fog up and I can wear my respirator and safety glasses under this face shield. Offers protection to my forehead and chin as well as my face. An essential part of my shop and tools.

	I have tried every anti-fog treatments and different faceshields and they all fogged up. This Uvex Bionic Faceshield with the anti-fog lens works. We use these anti-fog faceshields while washing down food processing equipment with steam. However like any faceshield, it still can get coated with moisture, it doesn't fog up though from vapor. Our guys also use it with respirators and it still doesn't fog up.

The Uvex Bionic Faceshield provides exceptional protection with the way it curves to the contour of your face.
