These protective gloves provide Wildland firefighters and Aircraft Rescue firefighters with the level of protection they require from extreme heat, cuts and abrasions. Proximity gloves from Shelby meet the NFPA ARFF (NFPA 1971, 2007) glove standard and are available in gauntlet and Nomex wrist styles. Wildland firefighting gloves also meet NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Firefighting, 2011 Edition.

Structural Fire Gloves - certified for use by structural firefighters, these gloves offer a high-level of fire retardant protection, along with cut and abrasion resistance. NFPA or OSHA Compliant model gloves available.
Extrication Gloves - commonly used during extrication and rescue operations to protect against cuts, punctures and abrasions due to the handling of sharp objects. These gloves also offer a high-level of dexterity.
Wildland Gloves - these gloves are made from Pigskin that is flame retardant and cut/abrasion resistant. They also provide excellent dexterity when handling fire tools such as, axes, chainsaws and shovels.
Proximity Gloves - worn by firefighters during Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) to protect against extreme radiant heat produced during fuel fires. Made from a combination aluminized PBI/Kevlar.
