The 3M™ PELTOR™ ALERT™ Headset helps protect you from potentially harmful workplace noise while at the same time provide the enjoyment of listening to the built in FM-radio. The level-dependent function for environmental listening allows sounds to be heard at a level below 82dB to increase your ability to communicate with nearby colleagues, as well as to hear warning signals, approaching vehicles, or sounds in machines and processes. The 3.5 mm listen only stereo input (limited to 82 dB) connects to external devices (e.g. mobile phone, two-way radio, MP3 player) via the included 3.5 mm cable.

The best Headset protection.

This is absolutely the best headset that I have found to use with loud equipment. it works well, is comfortable, protects from loud noises, the radio works well and this model has a connection for an external device. EnviroSafety shipped the item promptly and packaged it well, I am pleased with the purchase.

These were recommended to me by a friend to purchase these for my husband for Christmas. He has yet to use them, but I can already tell this is a quality item by the construction. Arrived very fast to our home. The box was a little dinged up, but that's probably UPS's fault.
