The 3M™ Peltor™ MT20H682BB-09N CY ComTac™ VI NIB Hearing Defender is a dual frequency eletronic headset designed for military and armed forces personnel and is for sale exclusively to US FedGov end users requiring a dual-frequency to support international operations.
The 3M™ Peltor™MT20H682BB-09N CY ComTac™ VI NIB Headset is an electronic headset designed for military and armed forces personnel and has an improved, new omni-directional microphone and high fidelity speakers with greater sensitivity; increasing speech intelligibility, improving hearing and reducing environmental sounds. Featuring the rugged 3M Peltor design, this headset will stand up to the rigors of the field. Additionally, the “talk-through” feature is a means of allowing safe audio sounds to bypass the individual hearing protection electronically while still helping protect against harmful noises. Meets the single hearing protection requirement listed in DA PAM 40 501 Army Hearing Conservation Program 2015, MIL STD 461G and MIL-STD-464 for Electromagnetic Interference and Environmental Effects on Systems.

The 3M™ Peltor™ ComTac™ VI offers a new way to adjust the auditory settings of your headset for your mission. Traditionally, a headset has a set frequency response, and the operator can only increase or decrease the volume. The MAP function provides new advanced ambient listening modes that allow access to a variety of gain settings, but with frequency shaping, to enhance auditory performance in five conditions. The MAP Profiles have been designed with a variety of combat and combat support operations in mind.
