This 7oz Aluminized Polybenzimidazole (PBI) 40" Coat with Open Back offers exceptional thermal and chemical stability. PBI fibers have no melting point and will not ignite in heat up to 1500° F. Aluminzed clothing has the ability to reflect up to 95% of radiant heat and reduces the flow of ambient heat by 50%. The ability to shed both ferrous and non-ferrous metals makes this Aluminzed Rayon Coat ideal for use in foundries and other high heat environments.
