The main feature of EMI’s tourniquet is, it is the only tourniquet with a built-in timer mechanism which automatically activates when it is applied. It also features a one hand application precision tightening, pediatric applicable and finger release lever. Additionally, EMI 9158 The S.T.A.T Tourniquet Plus can be used for an improvised splint by binding the liner limbs together and it is perfect in active shooter, trauma, disaster and E.R emergencies.
