These Halotron Fire Extinguishers successfully extinguish Class B and C fires by cooling and smothering and will not provide electricity to the user. The Fire Extinguishers are intended for use in areas formerly protected by Halon 1211 hand portable extinguishers. HALOTRON I is a "Clean Agent" HydroChloroFluoroCarbon (HCFC) discharged as a rapidly evaporating liquid which leaves no residue. Halotron is pressurized with Argon gas and is an EPA and FAA approved agent.
For the following types of fires:
Class B: Flammable Liquids and Gases - Gasoline, oils, paint, lacquer, and tar
Class C: Fires involving live electrical equipment
- UL and ULC Rating: 1A:10B:C
- 11 lb. B and C Extinguisher
- EPA Approved "Clean Agent"
