Ratchet Suspensions are an accessory developed as a type of suspension that is made with a quick ratchet adjusting knob. With this type of hard hat accessory, you can loosen or tighten the hard at any time you'd like with just a simple turn of the knob. The pin lock suspension must be removed to be adjusted, but when it comes to your safety & comfort, why not have both.

3M offers a white Hard Hat with 4-Point Ratchet Suspension (H-701R). Constructed with a 4-point ratchet suspension and a standard brow pad which features accessory slots for ear muff attachment, headgear and/or faceshield attachment. Comfortable, tough and lightweight design with a low profile for stability and balance to help provide the ultimate comfort & protection from small falling objects striking the top of the hard hat.
