The addition of a 3" wide FR vented fabric strip from the top of the forehead to back of neck allows for body heat to escape reducing steam burn. This aids in keeping the firefighter in the action longer and with less fatigue or discomfort. With the black Ultra C6 carbon fabric, advanced protection is available where it's needed most. The advanced carbon tri-blend fabric was engineered to address the most demanding concerns and needs of the safety world! This is one of our most popular fits; this hood offers a smooth fit in a long bib design! The long notched shoulder bib design allows for proper drape, yet doesn't restrict movement. Majestic's PAC II SVZ Nomex blend structural hood maintains its protective properties after repeated washings. Majestic fire hoods are manufactured with proven flame-resistant materials and pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage. An elastic face opening ensures a snug fit around your face or SCBA mask with optimal stretch recovery for repeated wearing. A wider cut allows superior air circulation. All seams are merrow stitched, with the top and bottom covered with a 5-thread cover stitch for extended durability. Certified to NFPA 1971-2013.
