The Peerless 850C Hinge Style Handcuff provides additional restraint by more effectively restricting hand and arm movement, while also able to fold flat for compact storage. Featuring an improved internal lock mechanism for increased tamper resistance, smoother ratcheting action and greater durability. Additionally, this model incorporates spun rivet construction and push pin double lock capability. The 850C includes a color finish helps to prevent equipment loss by allowing individuals, agencies or departments to more easily identify and track property. Color can also be used to enable or reinforce a classification system such as threat level, medical condition, jurisdiction and more. Also available in red, orange, yellow and pink. The color coating is applied using a process called Electrolytic Polyurethane Plating (EPP). EPP fully coats restraints inside and out without interfering with the lock mechanism or jaw swing-through. Two keys supplied. The Model 850C handcuffs are all National Institute of Justice 0307.01 certified and come with a lifetime warranty for manufacture defects.
