Three stars for shipping because they took longer than expected, but I understand that the manufacturer was backordered. Fantastic electronic muffs, highly recommended. (Posted on 4/10/2017)

Used the Peltor Tactical 7S at a 4-day defensive handgun course at Front Sight and shot over 600 rounds. It was amazing. I would highly recommend it. (Posted on 4/6/2011)

The best! I am a fire arms instructor and they make spending all day at the range almost pleasant. I am also the father of three young children and with headphones plugged into the TV jack I can here the Red Sox play by play and never miss a word. (Posted on 6/20/2010)

Wore these ear muffs for 5 days at Front Sight gun training school for 5 days with 42 shooters on the range. Ear muffs worked flawlessly and amplified personal conversations and range commands. AWSOME!!! (Posted on 5/20/2010)

I have purchased other over ear acoustic hearing protection - some cheaper (you get what you pay for) and some more expensive - not as good. These are the real deal. Have used mine hard for 5 years with no problems. (Posted on 12/9/2009)

Excellent - as advertised. Using them at an inside range where everything from .22s to 12 ga. are going off - damps them down and still provides clear conversation. Couldn't be happier. (Posted on 11/10/2009)

Excellent clarity for conversation at the range coupled with ideal level of hearing protection even from the big bore shooters. Comfortable to wear; easy on/off/volume adjustment. Used them myself for two years and purchased two more for range friends. (Posted on 11/4/2009)

Currently using Peltor 7s at front sight firearms training site. Worked very well on range with up to 20 people shooting at the same time. Able to hear commands from range master. Glad I chose these earmuffs. (Posted on 10/26/2009)

I have used the Peltor 7S for around 8 years and find them the most comfortable over ear hearing protection I have tried. I am a police firearms instructor and need to hear what is happening on the firing line as well as protect my hearing. I have some hearing loss so needed excellent "ears" to protect me while affording me the opportunity to communicate easily and hear non shooting events clearly. The 7s's are also comfortable enough to wear all day. (Posted on 5/9/2009)

Using the Peltor 7S Classic earmuffs inside at a pistol range. Like these very much. With foam plugs also in, you can't turn volume up quite enough to hear commands real well. However, despite only a 24db reduction, I've found that added foam plugs are not needed and then this headset really shines. They happen to fit me and seal really well. Thumbs up. The Tactical 7 has worked excellent for me, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Peltor product again. I'm actually looking to upgrade this headset to the Tactical Pro so I can use my radio gear at the same time. (Posted on 8/26/2008)

At first I was quite skeptical about the quality of electronic hearing protection. But I have used the Tac 7 with good success. I was very impressed with the quality and comfort level. (Posted on 8/26/2008)

I bought the Tactical 7 to use at the pistol range. It gives me the hearing protection I need and lets me carry a normal conversation. It's also very comfortable, I highly recommend it for anyone who shoots at the range. (Posted on 8/26/2008)

I've used regular Peltor earmuffs for a long time and like them this headset is great quality. I like the fact that Peltor is not just some cheap Chinese ****! You can not go wrong with the Peltor Tactical 7S headset. I use a patch cord to listen to my portable radio. (Posted on 2/29/2008)

I really enjoy my Peltor Classic 7 earmuffs. These electronic earmuffs are a great value and I think a best buy among all of the Peltor electronic headsets. I wish they made the bottom part of the earcup "notched" so that it wouldn't interfere with my guns stock. I might look at the new Peltor Tactical Sport for my rifles and shotguns.
