The 3M H-412 Hoods are NIOSH approved and offer respiratory protection with an added bonus of superior comfort in the most demanding of work environments. Lightweight and loose-fitting to give its users the comfort yet protection necessary for specific applications. With a unique airflow design, the H-412 Hoods help to prevent fogging of the wide-view faceshield. Optional air control devices allow the incoming air to be heated or cooled by as much as 50°F (28°C). These hoods offer easier breathing and a very high level of respiratory protection than negative pressure half and full facepiece respirators. Its loose-fitting design eliminates cost & time of fit testing that is required with tight fitting respirators. Easy to wear with simple on-and-off access even when using with prescription eyewear or safety glasses.

This assembly can be used on 3M GVP-Series Belt-Mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR)s and 3M Supplied Air Respirator Systems. 3M H-Series 410 hood is constructed of Tychem QC Fabric. Hood provides easier breathing and a higher level of respiratory protection with exceptional comfort. The unique airflow design helps prevent fogging. Hood's U-shaped faceshield provides excellent peripheral and downward vision. Can can be worn with facial hair and glasses. NIOSH Approved. Meets the requirements of ANSI standard Z89.1-2003, Type 1, Class E head protection.

Ideal for spray painting, coating operations, fiberglass manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pesticide handling, gel coating and general maintenance.
