The MCR Safety MCR Big Jake® 1711 Premium A+ Side Leather Work Gloves, 2.75 Inch Safety Cuff and Double Palm, Sewn with DuPont™, Kevlar®, have been tested for ANSI Level 5 Contact Heat for less than 608 degrees Fahrenheit for palm. ASTM F1060 -18 Standard Test for Evaluation of Conductive and Compressive heat resistance ratings measure the highest contact temperature for which the time to second-degree burn is at least 15 seconds and the alarm time is at least four seconds. This 1711 is made with two layers of select side split cowhide leather in the palm and sewn with super-strong, heat-resistant DuPont™ Kevlar® thread for the toughest jobs. Featuring 8 oz. jersey palm lining, 9 oz. cotton canvas back, and a 2.75 Inch rubberized safety cuff.
