These earmuffs replace the Peltor Tactical 6S Electronic Headset.
The customers have spoken and say the Peltor Sport RangeGuard OTH-4 Electronic Hearing Protector opens quicker and easier than the comparable Howard Leight version. We have also been told that these adjust more easily than the competitors headsets.
We love the fact that these these fold up into a nice compact unit. You’ll find that when you wear these for extended periods especially if you are wearing glasses underneath, that they will be more comfortable because of a nice thick padding in the ear cups.
Customers have told us that the final weight on these is about an ounce lighter than similar headsets. They improved the battery door on these so you will find yourself able to change the batteries much easier than on competitors products. We appreciate the fact that customers have noticed that the plastic used makes these feel sturdier and more durable than the Peltor Tactical 6S that they are replacing.
We’ve also gotten word from customers that when the microphones protrude from the headset on other earmuffs that they can become damaged. That issue was fixed on these by recessing the microphones. The Range Guard OTH 4 Headset comes in with a hearing rating of NRR 21. Our customers have told us that this is perfectly adequate for shooting smaller firearms. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise or shooting larger caliber weapons then we recommend you take a look at The Peltor Tactical Pro which is rated up to a NRR of 26

The website said 1 day when ordering, the reason we purchased from you. It's been 14 days and we still don't have it. The other issue is you were not the lowest priced. I called customer service and they answered my questions but did not seem concerned at all. Actually I remember hearing a snicker or light laugh.
EnviroSafety has been my go to for certain ppe items for years. I've found their products to be of excellent quality and affordable too. My orders have always been processed and shipped quickly as well.

Customer care was great. The individual I spoke with regarding a delayed shipment kept me informed over a period of five days. He called me to let me know the reason for the delay, when the item would be shipped and when the item had shipped. The lack of transparency at checkout was a deal breaker. If you charge a customer almost $15 for 2-day shipping then it should not take a week to get the product to the customer. If it takes that long, the company broke the contract.
Easy to find what I needed. I will use enviro safety again.
