Absolutely. The ComTac headset is compatible with various push-to-talk (PTT) adapters and radios, making it flexible for different communication setups.

A Single Comm headset has one downlead cord to connect to a single radio or intercom, allowing for communication with one device. A Dual Comm headset has two downlead cords, enabling simultaneous communication with two separate radios or intercoms. 

The microphone on the Peltor ComTac series headsets, including the ComTac V and VIII, is detachable and adjustable. It can be removed for various reasons, and its position can be adjusted for optimal audio pick-up. 

The ComTac headset is powered by two AAA batteries and has an average battery life of 150-200 hours. All models and colors feature auto power shutoff after 4 hours, helping to extend the overall battery life if you leave them on.

Yes! ComTac is designed for compatibility with combat helmets and protective eyewear. Specific models like the ARC Rail versions or headband options allow flexible wear based on your equipment setup.
