Three Attachment Types: TS, TR, TP
Standard Abrasives™ Quick Change Disc Pads come with one of three quick change attachment styles. Attachment styles include TS, TR and TP. TS is a standard metal to metal attachment style, TR is a 3M™ Roloc™ style nylon threaded male hub, and TP is a snap on/snap off nylon fastening hub. Each of the attachment styles allows easy swap out of discs with a speedy quarter turn.
Choosing a Mandrel
Our Standard Abrasives™ Quick Change Disc Pads are available with or without mandrels. Some TS and TR holder pads come with an attached 1/4 inch diameter TA4 mandrel. Others come with an attached 6 mm diameter TA6 mandrel. TP disc holders come with the TA4 mandrel attachment only. Disc pads are also available without mandrels, so users can select a mandrel of their choice for their application. Holders without an attached mandrel feature a 1/4 20 female thread interface for mandrel attachment. Once the mandrel is attached, users typically fasten the disc pad/mandrel assembly to a rotary tool or die grinder.
Which Density is Best?
Different densities signal varying levels of flexibility of the disc pad. Soft density disc pads are most flexible, and are typically reserved for fine grade abrasive products used in finishing and contouring applications. Medium density disc pads are typically used for general purpose type work. Hard density disc pads are the most rigid, and are typically reserved for coarse grade abrasive products used in weld grinding and stock removal applications.

The product I ordered was back ordered. Gustavo Martinez contacted me personally to help me get what I needed. He called multiple suppliers to see if he could get the product in pieces instead. In the end her helped me figure out that I didnt even order the correct product for my application and got the correct one ordered for me. By far the best customer service I have ever had from an online order!
We were able to find what we needed at a reasonable price. Checkout was relatively easy as well. After ordering, we got a notification that the items we ordered were on backorder. It would've been nice to have that inventory be accurate on the website before placing the order, but I understand things happen. We were given the option to cancel, but since we needed those particular items in no huge rush, decided to keep it in place. We received one shipment of the ear protection, but I believe the remaining maintenance kits are still on backorder. I hope we receive them soon. Other than the discrepancy in inventory and the wait for the two shipments, things went well. When we need more PPE, we'll likely shop with them again.

Always great service
The website said 1 day when ordering, the reason we purchased from you. It's been 14 days and we still don't have it. The other issue is you were not the lowest priced. I called customer service and they answered my questions but did not seem concerned at all. Actually I remember hearing a snicker or light laugh.
EnviroSafety has been my go to for certain ppe items for years. I've found their products to be of excellent quality and affordable too. My orders have always been processed and shipped quickly as well.
I had no issues. Email updates on shipping and order confirmation are much appreciated. Good prices. Will order again if need be.
