The Salalift™II winch is an ideal fall arrest system for any Advanced™ tripod, with a quick-mount bracket that easily mates with the support structure and secures with a detent pin. The overspeed brake detects a fall in progress and locks automatically, absorbing the energy to limit fall arrest forces, and the materials are built with anodized aluminum and stainless zinc-plated steel that will endure harsh conditions. Sophisticated interior mechanisms prevent overloading and wind the 60 ft (18 m) galvanized steel lifeline evenly onto the spool, while the swiveling snap hook prevents tangling and shows at a glance if the device has endured a fall.
