3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Disc 735U, 6 in P100 C-weight, 50 per inner 250 per case

Used with a vacuum system, our 3M™ proprietary multi hole pattern evacuates dust better than 5 or 6 hole products, increasing cut and dramatically increasing disc life, and the load resistant coating further reduces loading to optimize the useful life of the disc. The series of holes allows a vacuum accessory to suck dust away from the work surface and reduce air borne wood dust. We used our 3M™ Hookit™ hook and loop backing for easy attachment and re attachment of the disc between grade shifts or work pieces. It is recommended for use on whitewood sanding as well as metal fabrication, finishing stainless steel, and paint prep.

Our 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed using a 3M process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. For increased performance, 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Disc 735U products feature aluminum oxide blended with 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain for one of the most durable, longest lasting abrasives available. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal as well as sanding and finishing applications, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress. Ceramic aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut rate and durability, making this product an excellent choice for whitewood sanding and finishing applications and random orbital sanding on metal substrates.

Our 3M™ Clean Sanding dust management system evacuates dust from the work surface better than 5 or 6 hole products, dramatically increasing disc life and maximizing cut rate. Optimized with a self generated vacuum sanding tool fitted with a Clean Sanding filter bag (sold separately), Clean Sanding products allow the vacuum to suction dust from the air and off of the workpiece. This reduces loading of the disc and adds life to the abrasive. Additionally, reducing dust in the air improves working conditions. You can also pair Clean Sanding abrasives with Clean Sanding disc pads for use on a central vacuum ready sander.
