This Battery Smoke Alarm is a Dual Sensor Alarm as it includes both Ionization and Photoelectric sensors. The Ionization Sensor may detect invisible fire particles (associated with flaming fires) sooner than photoelectric alarms. The Photoelectric Sensor may detect visible particles (associated with smoldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms. This Smoke Alarm also includes a 9V battery as it provides protection even during power outages.
