The Majestic Fire GORE® Particulate Blocking Hood provides excellent particulate blocking throughout the entire hood, blocking smoke even at critical seams better than other fire hoods. Featuring a Ultra C6 / GORE® Particulate Blocking Layer with Ultra C6 3-ply material throughout (outer to inner), this hood blocks 99.9% of potentially harmful particulates. Additionally, the unique design of the GORE® Particulate Hood delivers a more comfortable, natural feel like you get when you wear a traditional hood and provides a higher level of breathability, allowing you to wear this hood longer at the fireground. This Gen2 hood offers contrasting colors, either white or black on the outsite and blue on the inside, to help prevent cross contamination. The GORE® Fire Hood is exceptionally durable, retaining its level of particulate-blocking performance for at least 100 wash cycles. This hood exceeds current NFPA 1971 requirements for thermal protection and complies with CAL-OSHA Requirements Sections 3406 and 3410(d) and OSHA Rule 29 CFR Part 1910, 269.
