The 3M TR-6590N Versaflo Multi-Gas/HE Cartridge is first-ever NIOSH-approved, multi-gas PAPR cartridge approved for use against mercury! This cartridge is a combination High Efficiency (HE) particulate/Multi Gas (MG) cartridge for use with TR 600 Powered Air Purifying Respirator systems, capturing a broad range of certain gases and vapors, including mercury. Addtionally, the TR-6590N can be used with loose-fitting hoods and head tops, which do not require fit testing like full-face tight-fitting reusable respirators do. The TR-6590N has a service life of 50 hours when used to help protect from mercury and is NIOSH approved for use against the broadest range of airborne contaminants of any Versaflo cartridge.
